Pneumatic Conveying Systems are designed to transport new or reclaimed silica sand, or special sands, to points of use and/or treatment. The system consists of multiple assembled components tailored to the specific requirements and operates using dry, oil-free compressed air.
The latest technical evolution of the KNBS-designed system enables high-efficiency conveying at very low pressures, ensuring:
– Reduced compressed air consumption
– Minimal wear on components
– Negligible increase in sand fines
The system, referred to as a dense-phase pneumatic conveyor (full-pipe conveying), features:
– Capacity: 500 to 1000 liters per cycle, with throughput up to 40 tons/hour
– Fully automatic operation, with manual override options
– Suitable for conveying sand, bentonite, starch, cement, and various powders up to 200°C
– Operates with compressed air pressure ranging from 1 to 4.5 kgf/cm²
– Extremely low maintenance
– ASME-tested
– Built with high-quality components, adapted to the harshest working environments
